Please consider Madison Hall in Morrisville, NY for your next function….
and here’s why.,,
Madison Hall is on the National Register of Historic Places. It enjoys non-profit status with the federal government 501 (c) (3) and is a registered charity with the State of New York. Madison Hall is the old Madison County courthouse and was the home of the first agricultural school in New York. History dates back to 1877 as Madison Hall was where the famous “Loomis Gang” was on trial and Garrit Smith spoke in favor of Abolitionism. But more than the excitement of holding your next event in a historical place are the reasons you look for in a reception hall.
Madison Hall is a two floor reception hall. The first floor houses offices, kitchen and handicap elevator access. The first floor reception foyer is highlighted by twin curved staircases at either end of the entry foyer and lead up to the second floor reception area where you enter a welcoming furnished lounge. The lounge leads into a two story tall magnificent hardwood floor ballroom complete with balcony and stage. The room is adorned with gothic columns, tall windows and original tinplate/ironwork ceiling. Acoustics make it ideal for an enjoyable concert. Round tables and chairs could accommodate a nice luncheon party, bridal shower or dinner dance. Occupancy is 400.
Our expert planning staff can help you plan floral arrangements, food catering, ambiance décor or event themes. Madison Hall is located in Central New York next to Morrisville State College on Historic Route 20 making it easy for anyone traveling from Syracuse, Albany, Utica, Hamilton, Binghamton or parts between.
