2010 Accomplishments
- Many website improvements to showcase people and
volunteers at events.
- Made arrangements to be included in the 2011
Madison County Wedding Planner Booklet
- Ads on various Internet wedding and venue sites
- Held 5K Historic Route 20 Run & Bake Sale. Renewed
membership in Route 20 association.
- Held "downtown" bake sale at Dougherty's Pharmacy
- Hosted OneSong "Country Music Legends"concerts in
May and October
- Two Can Drive Fundraisers
- Featured historical articles in Syracuse Post Standard and
Utica Observer Dispatch and was featured on
Mohawk Valley Living TV program in 2010.
- Provided Morrisville Historical Society meeting room and
office.
- Added 20 new lightweight rectangular tables to inventory
- Received a donation of 40 place setting dishes, cups and
glassware.
- Added 14 new 30X70 white linen tablecloths to inventory
- accepted donation of small pa amplifier, microphone, speakers
and disc player.
- Coordinated and created a Madison Hall community cookbook
"Wildflowers and SilverSpoons".
- Hosted many dances put on by Contra dancers and Christian
School.
- Painted 1st floor hallway and edges and using Morrisville College
Architectural volunteer students continued painting rear hallway.
- Painted floor in front entry foyer.
- Normal maintenance items like toilet repair, radiator repair and put
stops on doors.
- Held Feb, Mar, Apr, Nov & Dec. Indoor Farmers Market w/ 30+ vendors
and IFSEA fundraiser booth and a 'Country Cafe' food venue
at each market as a fundraiser for Madison Hall
- Rented facility for Weddings, Bridal Receptions & showers,
Baby showers, Meetings, Birthday & family gatherings,
Cornell Coop Madison County Extension Annual Meeting,
UUP Meetings, Crystal Kay Dance studio, Morrisville College
Liberal Arts Tea and Journalism Convocation with various meetings etc.
- Applied for Historical Marker
- Removed rubber mat in 1st floor hallway and refinished floors to hardwood.
- Made arrangements to repair handicap ramp by Morrisville College volunteers.
- Recognized new businesses moving into Morrisville with dicounts toward
future use of the facility.
